Victoria Park (Newbury)

Green Flag status would demonstrate our commitment to maintaining high standards for the Park, meeting the following criteria:
• A welcoming place
• Healthy, safe and secure
• Clean and well maintained
• Sustainability
• Conservation and heritage
• Community involvement
• Marketing
• Management

The Green Flag status will be promoted on our website and social media and the Flag will be flown in a prominent location in Victoria Park. A Press release will be sent to our media distribution list publicising the award and the accreditation that it brings. The Council will publicly thank the various parties who have helped to achieve the award and will work to ensure that we retain this valuable status.

The Council’s website page for Victoria Park will explain the significance of the award, the criteria and the standards required acknowledging the efforts of the various parties who have helped to achieve it. We will invite comments from park users, including suggestions for improvement which would help us to maintain Green Flag status for the future
