Belper River Gardens

Belper River Gardens is just over 2 hectares in size but we consider it to be a green gem situated in the heart of a World Heritage Site.

The site offers the visitor an opportunity to enjoy a traditional park with landscape features such pulhamite rockeries, a bandstand, traditional planting, mature trees, Tea rooms and well-equipped play area.

The local and wider community have a great sense of ownership for the park and have been instrumental in the improvements and are particularly proud of their dedication to improve the Gardens. There is a schedule of events throughout the summer months which are attended by thousands of people.

The garden is open all year round and offers something for everyone, for more information visit www.ambervalley.gov.uk.
