Millennium Country Park

The Forest Centre & Millennium Country Park is the flagship site in the Forest of Marston Vale and a fantastic example of environmental regeneration. Old brick pits and arable farmland have been transformed into a diverse mix of woodland, grassland, lakes and wetland habitats for everyone to enjoy.
For walkers or cyclists, there is 8km of traffic free, surfaced cycle paths and footpaths. Riders can enjoy a 4km designated horse trail. The playground and Sensory Wildlife Garden will appeal to children of all ages.
Get yourself a ticket to explore the Wetlands Nature Reserve. In this quiet area you can spot birds from the hides, wildflowers in the meadows and much more. Follow the surfaced trail on a wildlife safari to find out facts and play environmental games.
The Forest Centre has a cafe, gift shop and thriving conference facilities to suit everyone. In the Lakeside Café you can relax and enjoy a coffee or glass of wine with delicious local food freshly prepared in our kitchen.
There are a wide variety of walks and events throughout the year, so give us a ring or have a look at the website for more details.
The Forest Centre & Millennium Country Park is owned and operated by the Forest of Marston Vale Trust, the small environmental charity dedicated to using trees and woodlands to transform this part of Bedfordshire to create the Forest of Marston Vale.
