Beechwood Park

Beechwood park stands on the rising ground on the east side of the river and lies between Chepstow Road and Christchurch Road. There is an entrance from Christchurch Road and Beechwood Road which leads to Beechwood House which sits within the park. The house has had many uses but was originally the property of Mr. Fothergill, tobacco manufacturer of this town. The park offers grand views of the Bristol Channel and distant English coast. Immediately in front of the house are bedding displays, tennis and bowls courts. There are fantastic walks taking in the parks fine horticultural features alongside an entertainments area, open space for recreation and two play areas.
