Goffs Park

Goffs Park is one of Crawley's oldest parks and came into public ownership when the new town was developed during the 1950's. Prior to this, settlement on the site can be traced back to the 1300's.

The park extends to over 20 hectares and has something for everyone with high quality facilities in an attractive, welcoming and safe environment where visitors of all ages can relax, play and enjoy recreational activities such as walking, jogging and casual sports. The Walk4Life, the Red Route jogging trail and dog walk take in many of the popular features including: lakeside paths, mature deciduous woodland and neatly kept open lawns; also a well-equipped children's play area, a conservation area and plenty of opportunities to simply sit and take in the charming, unspoiled surroundings.

From April to October, the eighteen hole, par three pitch and putt course offers budding golfers an enjoyable challenge. Having taken a spin on the miniature railway, why not finish your visit with refreshments in the Kiosk or the Goffs Manor Pub, which is one of Crawley's oldest buildings dating back to 1450. The large outdoor pub garden makes a pleasant stopping point.

Annually throughout the summer months the park plays host to different events and attractions. The park supports cultural and community led events including summer fayre/s, Circus Zyair, theatre productions, live music and is currently the venue for Crawley Pride, returning in August 2023 having hosted the first event in 2021. The park also provides for a range of educational activities and opportunities to volunteer, many of which are run in partnership with Friends of Goffs Park.
