Seward Park
Seward Park is a gem of Seattle's Parks and Recreation system, a 210-acre Olmsted-designed urban oasis in one of the city's most diverse neighborhoods. Home to an Audubon Center, Clay Studio, tennis courts, amphitheater, and swimming beach, Seward Park also features 120 acres of old growth forest, miles of hiking trails, and freshwater shoreline. The community gathers at the park and attracts a robust volunteer base to continually improve this local resource for connection to nature and each other. Recognition with the Green Flag Award will highlight these benefits and more as an example for our city and the country.
