Collaborators
North Tyneside's natural environment is a valued resource that can support school curriculum subjects. Our parks provide diverse, safe and well maintained locations for interactive outdoor learning activities. They present challenges and interactions that can't be achieved in a classroom or school grounds setting.
Outdoor learning in parks is ‘hands on’ and creative, giving learners real experiences and a chance to achieve beyond expectation.
This is a useful resource for anyone thinking of creating a diverse offer of Outdoor Education in parks.
