The London mayor, together with Transport for London, have announced a £86 million fund for 'greener and healthier' public spaces.
Using this money boroughs will have the opportunity to transform their neighbourhoods and town centres. Any improvements will be supported by local people, to make sure it will really benefit their communities.
And excitingly, the fund can be used to create new green spaces. Let's hope these new spaces will join the hundreds of other fantastic green spaces in London proudly flying their Green Flag and benefiting their local people and the city's visitors.
