Riverside Park

Riverside Park is in a unique position alongside the River Itchen in Southampton. The park offers something for everyone with a popular model railway, outstanding pitch and putt, three play areas, a skate park, tennis courts, football pitches and cricket pitches. The park also provides a great vantage point to view all the wildlife that frequents the river, which is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).

Visitors can take a stroll along the waters edge which forms part of the Itchen Way that stretches from the Solent right the way through to Winchester and the source of the river. The park is also linked to the national cycle network.

The Friends of Riverside Park are very active with monthly litter picks and fund raising as well as getting the rest of the community involved with easter egg hunts and bulb planting days.
