Chesterfield Crematorium

Chesterfield Crematorium is beautifully situated in undulating country bounded by fields and woodlands. It is a tranquil area of green space designed to provide a dignified and sympathetic environment for contemplation. Grounds are maintained to a high standard by a small team of dedicated staff.

The Joint Crematorium Committee has invested significantly in the crematorium, resulting in it having an excellent reputation for setting high standards in all aspects of service provision. Our management plan is being further updated to provide for further developments over the coming years to ensure the service continues to operate at the very highest of standards.

The crematorium works closely with bereavement support organisations and holds a number of events for the bereaved each year. Including Services of Remembrance and the Wave of Light event in October each year.
