Itter Park

Itter Park is a safe, welcoming, attractive and well maintained public park on the borders of Walton and Paston, Peterborough. There are two parts to this compact yet feature-filled town park; a formal garden area plus, an adjacent recreation field. The opportunities for recreation in the formal park area include a bowling green plus bowls pavilion, two grass tennis courts and table tennis tables, a sunken garden, a wildlife pond, bog garden and sensory garden.

A refreshment kiosk opened in late 2016 and this is proving to be a popular venue for people to meet-up with friends and enjoy a bite to eat.

The recreation field has one football pitch, two hard tennis courts, a children’s play area, and an outdoor gym. The park and recreation field are very popular with local residents and also with visitors from further afield who come along to the events organised by the 'Friends' group. These include car boot sales, Christmas Carols and a very popular Family Summer Fun Day.
