Norfolk Gardens

Norfolk Leisure Gardens are located on the seafront of the seaside town of Littlehampton, and offer a fantastic range of activities to keep the whole family entertained. The site is approximately 5.36 Ha in size and has facilities and attractions including a café, toilets, miniature railway (running to Mewsbrook Park), tennis courts, pitch and putt golf course, adventure golf and a bowling green.

Norfolk Leisure Gardens (with the exception of the Pitch and Putt course) was handed over to Arun District Council as a gift on 3rd March 1982 by the Duke of Norfolk. At that time it was called The Esplanade. The site of Norfolk Leisure Gardens is made up of a number of elements:

Services managed by Arun District Council:
• Pitch and Putt course-managed and operated under the Greenspace Management Contract. Open all year round.
• Tennis Courts-Seven hard (tarmac) courts.
• Bowling green.
• Adventure golf course.
• Public Open Space: arboretum area, picnic area, wooded area, shrubbery, lawns.
• Public conveniences.
