Overnewton Park

Registered charity, Yorkhill Green Spaces is a community gardening group of local volunteers. Our aim is to improve and maintain green spaces in the urban area of the city and encourage community use and involvement. Overnewton Park was a fairly neglected area. Through the hard work of the group, it is now a safe clean park with perennial planting, wildflower strips, bird and insect houses, fruit trees and herb area, a sensory garden, chessboard herb and alpine feature, plus children's play area and picnic area.
