Revolution Walk - Birmingham Canal Navigation

Revolution Walk forms part of the Birmingham Canal Navigation's New Line and Old-Line canal. This section of the canal is 4.5 miles and stretches from the Roundhouse in Birmingham to Chances Glassworks in Sandwell crossing the city boundary into Sandwell.

Revolution Walk is the Trust's regions signature project for the West Midland. The project is an exciting opportunity to make this stretch of canal, from the Roundhouse in the city centre to Chances Glass Works in Sandwell, an attractive route for local communities and visitors to enjoy.

The areas surrounding and adjacent to Revolution Walk are benefiting from transformational investment in housing and healthcare but also have their challenges and we hope to facilitate greater ownership of these areas by improving the engagement with residents and local groups. Our ultimate plan is to make this a high quality welcoming green and blue corridor for everyone to enjoy.
