Fuksinpuisto
The Fuksinpuisto Park contains many plant species and varieties also suited for home gardens. The plants range from ones favouring direct sunshine to those thriving in shade.
The park houses extensive test planting areas of azalea varieties by the University of Helsinki. These flowers come into their own in early summer. You could say that they are the most impressive azaleas in Finland
The Fuksinpuisto park contains many cover plants, berry bushes, apple, pear, cherry and plum trees, and numerous varieties of clematis.
The groups of plants are provided with name labels and include perennials such as irises, cranesbills, day lilies, peonies, hostas, leopard plants, and perennial climbing plants.
A physical exercise area and a playground for children are located beside the Fuksinpuisto Park.
