Baggeridge Country Park

Baggeridge Country Park is an 152 acre park situated in South Staffordshire, on the edge of the Black Country. The park provides a safe, well managed, easily accessible and wildlife rich introduction to beautiful countryside. A Site of Biological Importance grade 1 the wildlife habitats within the park are steadily improving through careful management. The park is a superb site for bird watchers and naturalists and is an exciting place for children to play and explore. Once the site of Europe's most productive coal mine, evidence of the parks industrial heritage can still be discovered in the now peaceful countryside setting. The exciting play area, miniature railway , teashop and high ropes course encourages our 150,000 visitors to explore the countryside. The careful balance achieved between recreation and conservation, have created a beautiful park with a friendly atmosphere.
