Earth Stories - Summary Report

Birmingham City Council wanted to find a way to capture how people felt about their green spaces, why they were important and what we need to change to make them better. They didn’t want to create another survey so they simply asked for people's "Earth Stories".

As part of the development of a 25-year City of Nature Plan, it was essential the Council found a way to capture the views of local and diverse community groups regarding their greenspaces. They also wanted to go beyond asking the usual suspects or asking people to complete a survey – so we took a different approach.

The attached Earth Stories Summary Report is the result, and forms part of a wider ambitious work comprising the Naturally Birmingham City of Nature Plan and Future Parks Accelerator Project - funded throug the Heritage Lottery Fund.
