Páirc Cois Féile / Abbeyfeale Town Park
Páirc Cois Féile, better known as Abbeyfeale Town Park is a multi-award winning and International Green Flag accredited 30 acre facility on the banks of the River Feale which attracts over 40,000 visitors annually. The layout of the Park has the perfect combination of meandering Walkways, Public Sculptures, Pond Area, Fairy Village, Children’s Playground, All-Weather Mini-Pitch, Tennis Court, Basketball Court, Picnic Area, Wheelchair friendly Outdoor Gym, Summer Sensory Garden, and Public Facilities, to mention just some of the features that make up this space.
Biodiversity plays a major part in the overall makeup of the Park with an array of interesting Flora and Fauna and is the perfect location for walking along the river’s edge and taking in views of the surrounding countryside.
Abbeyfeale Town Park is easily accessible just off the N21 on the outskirts of Abbeyfeale Town on the border with Counties Limerick and Kerry. It is designed to be a family friendly environment with a little extra added to suit all age groups. Abbeyfeale Town Park is continuously being developed and enhanced through the commitment and dedication of a voluntary Abbeyfeale Town Park Committee, CE Scheme Staff, CE Scheme Supervisors, and other Volunteers, along with support from Abbeyfeale Tidy Towns, Abbeyfeale Community Council and various other local Voluntary Groups and individuals.
