Tralee Bay Wetlands

Tralee Bay Wetlands Eco Park & Activity Park is situated in Tralee on the Canal and on the estuary of Tralee Bay.
This wonderful Nature Sanctuary has lovely walks around its lakeside and lovely wild gardens for everyone to enjoy. Tralee Municipal Council with Kerry County Council and Failte Ireland helped create this wonderful space for everyone to enjoy in 2012. This was a vision in many ways before its time its creation has enabled people to see first-hand the Joys of Nature. Here in Tralee under the Slieve Mish Mountain Range and within sight of Tralee Bay you will meet our Ecologists and Guides who will introduce you all to the wildlife around us whilst hearing about the natural history and folklore of Kerry.
This natural landscape with special areas of conservation will enrich your holiday and you will always look at the world around you with a greater sense of Awe and appreciation. Be it the simplicity and beauty of the Curlews Cry or the Lifelong Love Affair of Swans you will be enthralled .You will also learn about Herbs , Natural Gardens , all our Flora and Fauna , Trees , Pond Life and Bird Life.
You can also enjoy the many activities, Pond Dipping, learning to climb, pedal boating or just sit and read your book in our lovely Lakeside Café.
Here in the heart of the kingdom you will truly appreciate how lucky we all are to reside on this planet with so many wonderful beings.
