Hollycroft Park

Hollycroft Park is one of Hinckley's more traditional parks which is used by a great number of people living both within Hinckley and its surrounding area.
The park is 4 hectares in size and lies on the fringe of the town centre in the heart of Hinckley.
The park was opened in 1935 for the silver jubilee of KIng George 11 and Queen Mary.
Facilities within the park attract a diverse range of visitors from young to old and of all abilities, They include:
. A pavilion and associated bowling green.
. A bandstand dating back to the late 1920s set with a beech lined tiered amphitheatre.
. Tennis Courts
. A pitch and putt course
. Walks
. A stream feature
The park plays host to a number of events and concerts attracting visitors of all ages from far and wide. Some of our concerts include:
. Hollycroft Park Family Fun day (August)
. Music in the Park Sunday band concerts (May - September)
. School Choir event (June)
It is the intention of the Green Space Team in partnership with Hollycroft Friends Group to continue to manage and develop Hollycroft Park as one of the Borough's premier park, whilst conserving its historical character. The site will be maintained to a high standard to promote it as a site of horticultural excellence, to offer good quality facilities, and as a venue for a number of high quality concerts and events.
