Poolsbrook Country Park

Poolsbrook Country Park is a vibrant and diverse site and is a much valued asset for the local community and visitors from further afield.

The recent improvements made, such as the construction of the Caravan Club site, play development and investment in infrastructure have increased visitor numbers dramatically and the park is established as a major destination for outdoor recreation.

The ongoing developments detailed in the management plan will further enhance visitor experience whilst wildlife will continue to benefit from targeted habitat maintenance.

The Park is fortnunate in having a dedicated Friends Group who are very much involved in decision making and overseeing the running of the park cafe.

The number of visitors on a summer's day is testament to the popularity of the park, the quality of the facilities along with the diverse and accessible recreation opportunities on offer.

We believe that these attributes meet the requirements of the Green Flag Award.
