Celebrate your favourite parks for Love Parks Week

09 July 2015

How are you planning to celebrate the week (24 July – 2 August)? Events are happening all around the country.

Now in its ninth year, Love Parks Week is the annual celebration of our countries' fantastic green spaces and the community groups that bring them to life. As part of the celebrations, there will be hundreds of events and activities throughout the week (24 July - 2 August).

Events range from open-air theatre, to outdoor fitness sessions; children's activities to garden parties and much more. The diversity of events mirrors the range of uses our parks are put to through the year, and showcase all the activities that can be enjoyed in green spaces.

Keep Britain Tidy's Love Parks team will be launching the week on 24 July with an event at Valentine's Mansion and Gardens in Ilford, Essex. All are welcome to come along for this free day of activities, find out more or find other events closer to you.

We are really excited about the hundreds of events that are being organised all around the country to celebrate Love Parks Week. And we would like to thank all the community groups, councils and members of the public who have embraced and supported the Love Parks campaign."
