Templeton Woods

Adjacent to Camperdown Country Park this mature woodland provides an excellent habitat for many examples of Scottish wildlife. Roe Deer, Red Squirrels, Tawny Owls and the elusive Jay can be seen by the careful observer.

The visitor information point provides information on the Countryside Ranger Service and educational activities at Templeton Woods. There is the Woodland Sculpture Trail which has carved wooden totems and tile mosaics, and the network of paths and trails are suitable for walking, horse riding or cycling.

The Countryside Ranger Service organise various activities in Templeton Woods including woodland skills and crafts, events to highlight Red Squirrels, Hallowe'en Howling and Fungal Foray.
