Sandsfoot Gardens

Weymouth Town Council and The Friends of Rodwell Trail & Sandsfoot Gardens are delighted to be awarded a Green Flag award for Sandsfoot Gardens again this year. The Gardens are a magnet for both visitors and the local community, attracted by the beautifully kept gardens, friendly cafe and fantastic views of the 16th Century Castle overlooking Portland Harbour. The gardens contain a pond, shady trees, shrubs, herbaceous borders, tropical palms and bright annual flower beds as well as a human sun dial! Grass areas abound so picnics can be enjoyed whilst the young at heart can play on the grass or rolly polly down the banks.
