Field Place

Field Place is located in the coastal resort of Worthing in West Sussex, and is conveniently served with excellent local transport links nearby. The former Manor house and attached Grade 2 listed barns and outbuildings host a wide range of fitness and wellbeing events and activities throughout the year, including wedding receptions and ceremonies, clubs and societies meetings, pre-school groups shows, parties and keep fit classes. The buildings and facilities are managed by South Downs Leisure Trust, whilst the Grounds are maintained by Worthing Borough Council's Parks and Open Spaces Team as part of a Service Level Agreement.
Field Place was the principal Manor House of the Goring Manor, whose original estate dates back to the 1300’s and was 340 acres in total. Today, Field Place grounds cover 8 acres and its attractions include bowling and croquet greens, petanque, a miniature railway, Pottery, Art Centre, a children's play area and tennis courts, not to mention the extensive ornamental shrub beds and mature trees within the park. There are many active Community groups who use Field Place to enjoy their interests. These include bowling clubs, croquet club, tennis, local artists and local interest groups and societies.
