Hylands Estate

The Hylands Estate is a prestigious grade II* listed public park. Set in 232 hectares (547 acres) of historic parkland for all the family to enjoy and is open to the public all year round with ample car parking.

Why not visit and spend the day exploring all the estate has to offer. Be sure to visit the key attractions, the Pleasure Gardens, ancient woodlands, the lake, the pasture, the Stable Visitor Centre and not forgetting the award-winning accessible children’s Adventure Playground.

The park plays host to some great events, including Race for Life and the annual music festival, the latter attracting some 130,000 people. So, whether you visit for one of our programmed events or simply for a walk in the magnificent parkland you are sure of a memorable visit.

Hylands House set within the estate, is a beautifully renovated Neo-Classical elegant villa and as with the Grand Pavilion it can be hired for any occasion including Weddings, Celebrations and Business Events and is open to the public on select days. The Stables house a café, visitor center and resident artist studios.
