Mabley Green

Mabley Green has been transformed from a flat empty green space into an exciting new park. The park’s sports facilities have been improved with the creation of an additional all weather floodlit 3G football pitch. A new play area has been constructed which caters for children on the autistic spectrum. Natural play elements have also been built into the landscape.

At the heart of the site is an edible park managed and maintained by the local community. However, the biggest transformation of the site has been the creation of rolling hills and the planting of over 500 trees, which have already dramatically changed the character of the site and will provide a valuable habitat in the years to come.
