Harlow Museum Gardens
The Walled Gardens surround Harlow Museum, located in the stable block of the former Mark Hall Manor House, visited on three occasions by Queen Elizabeth I.
Both the Museum and Walls are Grade II listed and the Gardens consist of three themed Gardens which are open to the public three days a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. We make a perfect picnic spot in the spring and summer and our winter border and early flowering Mahonia and Magnolia make us a perfect spot for a winter walk.
The Gardens are managed by Harlow Council and cared for by the Museum Walled Garden team of staff and volunteers. We are very proud to have now also been accredited as a Heritage Site under the Green Flag scheme.
