The Crichton

Open to the public all year round, The Crichton Estate has 85 acres of parkland boasting a rock garden, arboretum, exquisite rose gardens, and plenty of open space and signposted walking routes. A stunning location to take a stroll, walk the dog, or enjoy a picnic, the gardens are beautifully maintained by The Crichton Trust gardeners all year round.

The Crichton also has playing fields and abundant open spaces, which are great for various activities, from football to festivals. The Crichton is a great location for fitness and healthy living in the community, and we encourage free use of the open spaces for those looking to get active or have fun.

Crichton Park Run takes place every Saturday morning, and many leisure groups and individuals use the grounds for walking, jogging, and cycling.
