Haydon's Road Recreation Ground

A popular, open park consisting of a large open space for sports, a children's playground, and bowls green. The park is popular amongst local dog owners, families and those looking to exercise outdoors. The grass pitches are used for cricket in summer and lacrosse in winter. There are large, mature trees around hedges around the boundary of the park as well as newly planted trees, flower beds and benches along the single path, which follows the park's boundary. The park has a small car park and a floodlit multi use sports area providing access for basketball, football and tennis and is located near South Wimbledon tube station.
