Dothill and Shawbirch Local Nature Reserve (NEW)
Dothill and Shawbirch Local Nature Reserve (LNR) includes Dothill Pool, Tee Lake and Beanhill Valley. It is surrounded by residential areas and main roads, but it is a tranquil home to a diverse range of habitats including lakes, streams, woods, open meadows, wetlands, ponds, historic canal sections and grasslands.
Dothill and Shawbirch LNR is part of the Telford and Wrekin Green Network, linking habitats throughout the borough. It provides a corridor for species between Dothill and Apley Woods to the east and a space for wildlife between and within developed areas. The LNR also provides a space and opportunity for recreation and enjoyment for those in the area.
