Masonhill Crematorium

Set in seven acres of countryside on the eastern edge of Ayr town. Masonhill Crematorium was built by the community in 1966 and has served the community for over fifty years. The impressive chapel, tastefully decorated, will seat up to 155. There is also a large and comfortable waiting room. Air conditioning has been installed to improve visitor comfort. The grounds tended by South Ayrshire Council staff, are laid mainly to lawn and provide a peaceful setting overlooking farmland to the surrounding hills. The crematorium grounds are open all year round for people to come and pay their respects. There is ample on-site parking including disabled parking spaces, and on-site toilet facilities including disabled toilets.
