Daventry Country Park is a popular Country Park at the heart of Daventry town. The Council is committed to ensuring it is a welcoming, safe and clean place for all to visit.
Conservation and heritage of the park are important to the partnership to ensure that all methods of site maintenance are environmentally sustainable and in line with our Higher Level Stewardship Agreement.
The park is a popular place for visitors, activities are always well attended and the partnership has a good relationship with the Friends group, which is also committed to supporting the work of the partnership in protecting, preserving and promoting Daventry Country Park.
We are proud of our park and have faith that we deliver a much-improved green space for all users, whilst placing the park in a strong position to attract new visitors through our planned maintenance and improvement schedule.
Daventry Country Park has achieved Green Flag status since 1998. This success mirrors growing public interest and wider attention placed on the park’s place in the community and the Green Flag Award scheme.
